Join me for a fun and informative class using the Mini Beg and Borrow cutting template set! This set creates a 6” Drunkard’s Path block and offers endless design possibilities with additional pieces aside from the traditional "L-shape" and "Quarter Circle".
Accurate cutting is the first step toward mastering curves, and the next is taking the fear out of sewing curved seams. I will thoroughly demonstrate my simple two-pin method and share a couple of tips 'n tricks that will have you loving your curves in no time. We will also explore creating several different quilt designs, all from the same block!
Class Breakdown:
Monday, March 3 – This introductory session will provide a class overview and offer assistance in choosing fabrics. Fabric preparation will be discussed, and students who have prepped their fabric can begin cutting. I will demonstrate and guide you through cutting and stitching those beautiful curved seams.
Monday, March 10 – Let the magic begin! We’ll cut and sew our curved seams and then layout our chosen design.
